How long is the data stored?
The stored data contains minimal sensitive information. Because we also want to conduct analyses in the future and compare them with the data from today, we store the data indefinitely, unless stated otherwise below.
If you would like your data to be removed earlier, you can inform us via email, telephone, or letter.
Form: Campaigns
Data | When you fill out one of our campaign forms, we collect the following data:

Purpose | This form is used to process your request for (more) information about our campaign and to contact you regarding this topic.
Analysis | We may use your data for our own internal analyses, our marketing policy, and improvements to the website so that we can serve you better.

Form: Mail-to-a-friend
Data | If you use the Mail-to-a-friend option on our product pages, we collect the following information:
- Sender’s name
- Recipient’s name and email address
- Comment
- Article URL/name that is being sent
Purpose | This form is used to send an email to the recipient containing the sender’s name, a link to the article, and the comment. These details will not be used to send further mailings to the specified email address.
Analysis | We may use your data for our own internal analyses, our marketing policy, and improvements to the website so that we can serve you better.
Form: Newsletter subscription
Purpose | We process your data (Name, Email address) so that we can send you a periodic newsletter.
Analysis | We may use your data for internal analyses to improve our service. For sent mailings we analyze whether an email has been opened (through the downloading of images in the email) and whether one of the URL links has been clicked and when. This helps us determine the success of the mailing and the messages within it.
Unsubscribe | If the unsubscribe link in the mailing is clicked and confirmed, we will add your email address to our “unsubscribed” table. This table is used only to ensure that the system does not send any further mailings to that email address.
